A woman with long blonde hair, wearing a striped shirt and blue apron, is preparing braided bread in a modern kitchen with wooden cabinets and white brick backsplash. She is using a brush to apply an egg wash to the dough on a baking sheet, with various baking tools and ingredients on the counter.

Made with a little extra love

Here at Inspiring Midwest Roots, we are settled in our nostalgic childhood of the 90s where the recipes are comforting and the colors are bold. It started as a recipe blog that has grown into more.

Our recipes are inspired by our Midwest family favorites but have a modern and fresh spin on them. We are bringing those church cookbooks back to life in our own, unique way.

Our products are inspired by our grandmothers’ kitchens. Our handmade ceramic bowls and wooden spoons are heirloom pieces that will last. We hope you feel transported back in time to a time with these products.
