Pumpkin Pie Cold Foam Coffee
I believe the title says it all. This, everyone, is the perfect fall cold brew coffee (in my humble opinion). It is spiced. It is creamy. It is sweetened with maple syrup. Please, I beg you, try it!
I prefer cold brew coffee over any other kind of hot or iced coffee drinks. I have figured out a way to make it at home that is easy and delicious. Check out how I do it here.
Now, I am on a mission to make different flavors of creamer and cold foam from scratch to cut down on the sugar, but also to cut down on that coffee budget! It has honestly been a really fun journey. And it is something I look forward to each day.
Please, once again, give it a try! I promise you won’t regret it. Let us know what you think in the comments!
Details & Tips
This Pumpkin Pie Cold Foam Coffee could not be easier to make! But, first things first, we need a really great cold brew concentrate. You can most definitely find these at most grocery stores. But I have learned that making it at home is easy, and tastes better than store bought. Check out how I make my cold brew here. As I have said before, the kind of coffee you use makes all the difference. I look for brands that are tested for mold and toxins, that are organic, and a medium roast. My favorite brand right now is Danger Coffee. You can check them out and get 10% off here! Coffee is one of my favorite things, so I can get on a roll! Thank you for being here!
Okay, now back to the cold foam! This Pumpkin Pie Cold Foam is honestly the easiest thing to make. As much as the coffee makes the difference in the cold brew, the heavy cream is going to make a difference with the cold foam. So spring for the organic kind! I promise, it does make a difference. The cream mixed with the spices and the maple syrup are such an amazing combination. Even though it is a cold drink, it will give you the most warming feel as you drink it.
Customize
Now, I do not love a super sweet cold brew. This recipe does not have a ton of maple syrup. If you like a sweeter coffee, add more! If you don’t add less. Just taste it along the way.
The same thing goes for the spices. I go a little heavy on the spice because I love the taste. But you can definitely use less if you want.
Storing the Cold Foam
This recipe is going to make you one to two coffees depending on how much cold foam you like. So, if you want to double it up and store in the fridge, you can most definitely do that. It will stay good in the fridge for 4-5 days. You may need to whip it up again just a for a few seconds after it has sat for a day or two, but the flavors will still be amazing.
I like to store my cold foam in a glass car with a wide mouth so it is easy to whip and dollop onto my coffee. I make it and store it all in the same jar. We are all about reusing over here, the less dishes the better! These little tulip jars are my favorite, and the perfect size.
