Salted Vanilla Cold Brew
The perfect way to start your morning or the perfect midday pick-me-up. This Salted Vanilla Cold Brew is really perfect. It is sweetened with maple syrup and has good ingredients as a bonus!
I love a sugary latte from a coffee shop. I don't love them too sweet but every once in a while, it just sounds so good. They sound especially good for a midday boost. The thing is that those coffees are typically filled with terrible ingredients so I don't get them often.
I have started to make my own with my cold brew and they are honestly better than the coffee shop, plus they don't have any bad ingredients. We are sweetening these with maple syrup and using good quality heavy cream. We are also using cold brew which is brewed in a glass container for 24 hours. I am telling you, it makes a difference! This Salted Vanilla Cold Brew is going to satisfy that craving of a coffee shop coffee drink that we all love. It is sweet, creamy, a little salty, and has a strong coffee flavor.
As I have shared, I love making cold brew at home. I have used a few different methods but have found my current favorite. Check out the blog post on how I brew my cold brew here! Cold brew has a lot of benefits. My favorite is that it isn't so hard on my stomach because it is not as acidic as hot brewed coffee. It is also brewed in a glass container so there is no plastic leaching into the liquid.
Making your own cold brew and additions like cold foams and creams are so much better at home because you can control every part of the process and what is in them. I recommend giving it a try if you haven't yet!

Details and Tips!
This Salted Vanilla Cold Brew could not be easier to make. All you need is some cold brew. If using my recipe for cold brew, get your ice, water, and cold brew concentrate to taste, making it a little stronger than usual as we will add the salted vanilla cold foam to it as well.
In a measuring cup or glass, add in 2 ounces of heavy cream. Then add a drizzle of maple syrup, the vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Using a small whisk or a frother, mix up the ingredients for just a few seconds until the cream is thickened slightly. Pour it over your cold brew coffee and enjoy!
What you need!
- Cold Brew Coffee

The ratios in this recipe are really to taste. If you like your cold brew coffee a little sweeter, add more maple syrup. If you prefer it to be less sweet, you can use a little less. You could also add in a little more vanilla or salt. Just play with it and see what your preferences are.
